Add Metaprops to scene? [Solved]

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the metaprops for a scene? The one I would really like to change/edit is the steering wheel turn close up on the "Travelling Vehicle: Automobile" set. The original one strangely has only that blue stunt car in it and there is no option available to exchange in for another car.

The info for the scene seems to be in the following file: "037_car_turn_wheel_cu.ini"

So I figured I just need make the following edit under the metaprops section to activate the option to change out the cars:

[metaprops]
0 = car

But alas this does not seem to do anything and the "change props" button for the scene remains greyed out.

I really would like to be able to change the car in this scene - does anyone have any experience with this or knows what else I need to do to make this work?

I'm sorry but I don't see a way to solve this problem.
Even when you use "dirty modding" to change the car, the steering wheel is completely missing.
So obviously you can only show the steering wheel of the stunt-car in this scene.

@ Tonda - Thank you for taking the time to check out the issue mate, much appreciated! I guess the developers forgot to add in those options and never got round to fixing this. I also tried my best to get it to work but was unable to. Will mark this as "solved".

So the bottom line is: One can not add new metaprops to a scene.
