Crashing

Hoping someone might beable to offer me some help. The last few days the game has been crashing a lot. I've been crashing while saving if I don't save often and more annoyingly I've been crashing randomly in the AMM. That's the one that I'm hoping someone can offer a solution for. I started making a movie using the AMM about 13 hours ago and I've managed to get 6 scenes done so far due to the game crashing and erasing several scenes and due to me getting walking away after the third crash and no progress made.

I updated my vid card drivers and DirectX already hoping that would fix the problem. I've completely removed my anti-virus (McAfee) with no change in the crashing rate. I've done disk cleaning and defrag with no change. All the things that work in the past haven't done the trick this time. The only thing that's likely being a problem is one I can't fix. I'm using Win 7 Professional 64-bit.

Any help will be greatly appriciated because I'm on the verge of removing the game completely.

Have you installed some new mods recently? Which mods are you using?

You can find out, if this ist a problem with The Movies or with your system. Just copy all datas like your data-folder, your star-maker-datas a.s.o. to another hard drive and reinstall the programm. If it will work fine then, it's a problem with your data-folder. If it still crashes so often, then a new update or another programm disturbs. In that case it's impossible for us to help you.
If it works correctly after reinstalling, the best thing is to install the TMDC movies.onlinewelten.com/downloads.php?id=181 and then to install only the mods you really need.
