I crash randomly, without warning and often when using the AMM and Post Production. Needless to say, it makes make a custom movie very difficult. Anyone have any tricks/tips I can do to help with the problem. I'm sure it's a compatibility issue with Win7 x64 and/or Windows Media Player v12. Two things the game never anticipated every existing.

Try to use the Windows XP Mode.

This will help! ;)

Thanks for the reply. I tried to do this but keep getting a message that DirectX isn't installed or some such. I've DLed DirectX and installed it under XP mode but doesn't seem to be doing the trick.

EDIT:

"Your computer could be running an old version of DirectX or DirectX may be disabled. This program requires DirectX 9.0c or highter in order to run."

1. Did you try to install DirectX in xp mode? www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=34429

2. Perhaps you have to re-install the game in xp mode to get a running version of TheMovies?
