The game requires a relatively small hardware to be playable. This was already confirmed by the developers before the release of The Movies.

Here are the minimum requirements for The Movies:

  • Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
  • Processor with at least 800 MHz
  • 256MB RAM
  • 8x CD-Rom-Drive
  • 2,4 Gigabyte Hard Drive Space
  • Graphic cards with 32 MB, DircetX-9-compatible
  • 16-bit sound card; DircetX-9-compatible
  • Keyboard and Mouse
  • Windows Media Player 9-Codecs
